Danielle N. Stafford PsyD
My desire to provide services that treat the community through an individual is the culmination of personal experience and professional training. Growing up in the foothills of the Oregon Cascades, I was raised with a respect for nature and an understanding of how interconnected one is with his or her environment. My curiosity to learn, coupled with my commitment to advocacy centered on human rights has nurtured my dreams. This developmental setting is the foundation in which my deep compassion for people and sense of empathy was fostered. This compassion, paired with awareness of how people are affected by their greater social and environmental settings, has led me on my current pursuit.
In effort to refine my skills and fulfill my desire to know all psychological aspects of an experience, I have training from sites that serve clients who are in crisis, at risk, incarcerated, and/or are severely mentally ill.
My personal and professional experiences have transferred into my work with clients, guiding me to support them through their personal struggles by helping them identify strengths and effective coping skills. My experiences have cemented my passion to serve others. The combination of diverse experiences, academics, and clinical work have motivated me to pursue further serving populations that utilize those services.
